Islamic Art

This project looks at traditional gemetric islamic art, created using just a compass and a ruler. Patterns are developed from circle geometry and different arrangments of lines of create an infine amount of different patters.

Islamic Art

Islamic architecture is often adorned with beautful geometric art.

These patterns are made from a ruler, compass and a pen. It creates complex patterns from the most basic mathematical principals.

These patterns are taken into metal, and manipulated to create striking forms.
